Parade to the Park
July 4, 2017
Thank you, Father, for the gift of living in a country where I am free to talk about you. Forbid I should take that for granted. Forbid I should not utilize that privilege to it’s fullest extent.
It’s summer in the South and it is HOT. Which means outside activities are morning/evening only or must include water. Sweat is my only accessory.
Nate is walking the kids to the park this morning and I will join them shortly. Cutest scene on the planet: Anna in a fancy red hat sitting in the red wagon pulled by Nathan, Rachel on the tricycle, and Jase on the pedal-less bike waddling down the road while Titus zooms past the entire parade.
Thank you, Father, for that sweet picture. Help me be a mother who reflects you, and who points them constantly to you. Make their hearts soft to the gospel. May they each wholeheartedly love and follow Christ.
