  1. I get excited when I see a new blog post. I don’t follow anyone else’s blog, happened upon yours and love it. It encourages me in my walk with the Lord and the stuff he wants me to do that I find to be way out of my comfort zone. It helps to know you have the same struggles and face them. Thank you!!!

    1. Angela dear, your words are the very reason I started this blog in the first place. Thank you for sharing them. Truly, it encouraged this heart of mine. Pray that I’m courageous enough to continuously tell the truth about this faith walk of mine. And I’ll pray the same for you. 🙂 Thank you for commenting. Love hearing from others!

  2. When I see the link to your blog in FB my heart does a happy dance! I too am a Martha and deal with pesky pride and “It is not about you, never is and never will be.” I always considered myself rather humble and not wanting the spotlight but our Father showed me rather abruptly that my concern about outcomes and what I might be asked to do was because of my need for control which is a form of pride. I argued with Him for a while, “not me, no, no, no” until I surrendered my PRIDE. I still hear those “not about you” reminders often – Martha struggles! This reading is just another reminder, Thanks!

    1. Ha! Glad I can give your heart a little work out. 🙂 Good word about control being a form of pride. EXACTLY what I’m dealing with currently. I do believe He’s trying to pry my fingers off this thing and teach me something about my need for esteem. I wish he would just change my heart rather than make me go through the hard work. But it doesn’t seem to be His way with me. Some of us learn from other people’s mistakes. Some of us are the other people. Thank you for commenting! Always an encouragement to me!

I love hearing your thoughts!
