The Mess of Marriage
August 13, 2017
Nate and I are increasingly cross with each other lately. The stress is getting to us. Lord, show me my part.
I need your grace. He has enough tension with the outside world, he doesn’t need it with me as well. Help us love one another, Lord.
Then he comes on the porch and smiles that dimpled smile. And all is right again.
Until the next time our egos collide.
We feel dry, Lord. We need you. My heart longs for you in a dry and weary land. As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul longeth after you.
