  2. Even though I am somewhat close to this story to read it unfold has totally sweep me away! God is sooooo good! I delight in Him allowing me to be a fly on the Wall! Tears!!!!

  3. i should know better than to read your blog before I’ve bolstered up my emotional defenses for the day! But alas, I read this before I got out of bed this morning while I was still half asleep. Happy tears galore!

  4. Such a beautiful story! I had immediate chills as I began to read it. God never ceases to amaze me. He opens and closes doors along this path of fostering that, later, make perfect sense. I’m so glad He knows exactly what He’s doing. I feel so confused at times, but God always shows me that His way is the right way. Best of luck with your family.

  5. I came across your story as I struggle with my own decision to parent a child who has been placed in my home. I am not quite done parenting 4 teenage children and am not sure I have what it takes to do it again with a pre-teen. Thanks for giving me the strength to understand that ultimately God is in control and it takes as much faith to walk away from a situation as it does to grit your teeth and tough it out.

  6. Wow! This came at just the right time for me. We have been approved for about a month now and are getting our first little guy soon while his current foster family travels to Africa. So encouraging to read how God is writing all these stories:)

Glad I found your blog, Beth!
